Have you always had a desire to participate in a 5K race, but discouraged by the 3.1 miles? Look no further than the Cedar Ridge 0.5K Race. Back for a third time, after selling out the first two in less than 24 hours – we’re giving the people what they want! This event, an affectionate parody of road races everywhere, begins at 10 AM on Labor Day (Monday, September 2nd).

“This is an un-race,” says Tasting Room Manager, Zach Stewart. “A nonevent, a thing for people who like to have a good time and don’t take themselves too seriously.” While you’re stretching before the race, we’ll warm your muscles up the only way we know how – with award winning Iowa Bourbon Whiskey. The “race” will cover 546 yards spanning across the vineyard, with multiple stops along the way that include cocktail stations, and exclusive spirit samplings.

The Cedar Ridge 0.5K features live music, food, and award winning spirits. Once you cross the finish line, a brunch buffet will be served until noon, including a build-your-own breakfast taco station with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, smoked pork shoulder, tomato & sweet corn salsa, and more! Donuts TOO! Two drink tickets will be included to choose from Mimosas & Bagger Vodka Bagger Bloody’s. Race t-shirt & sticker included. Registration begins at 9 AM. Tickets are $35.
